Afrikaans singer injured in horse riding accident

Cape Town – Afrikaans singer Jay du Plessis has been admitted to hospital in Bloemfontein, reports OFM.

According to the local radio station, Jay sustained serious injuries after falling from a horse in Zastron.

Corné Oosthuizen, Jay’s agent, confirmed the incident and said the singer was doing well and was out of danger.

Jay, who is expected to make a full recovery, was in Zastron for a performance when the incident took place.
