All the deets on Rihanna's Cape Town gig

Cape Town – Big Concerts have issued a handy list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and rules for Rihanna’s World Diamonds Tour at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday, 16 October.

Fans are urged to take note of the rules and instructions listed below to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the day.

All you need to know (FAQs):

1. Gates Open: 17:00, the opening act GTA starts at 18:30 and Rihanna starts at 20:00. Please note times are subject to change. We recommend arriving early to avoid queues.

2. Remember your tickets and ID (if you intend to consume alcohol), cash (NO ATMs on site) and appropriate clothes for any weather conditions.

3. PROHIBITED ITEMS: Umbrellas, motorbike helmets, cameras or recording devices including tablets (iPads).

4. Food and beverages will be available for sale inside and outside the stadium. No food or beverages (including alcohol) may be brought to the stadium and no drinking will be allowed in any areas other than the licensed public bars outside and inside the stadium. Security will confiscate any alcohol in the car parks, and refuse entry into the venue to any persons that are intoxicated.

5. Please note that tickets are not available to purchase at the stadium. SAPS will be taking action to anyone caught buying or selling tickets or illegal merchandise outside the venue.

6. If you have a GOLDEN CIRCLE STANDING TICKET enter through the gates at Granger Bay Boulevard into Fort Wynyard (P2) parking, follow the signage. There is no armband collection inside the venue. If you enter through the wrong gate you will have to go all the way back to Granger Bay Boulevard.

7. If you have a GENERAL ADMISSION STANDING TICKET enter through turnstiles 12-18 on Granger Bay Boulevard. There is no armband collection inside the venue. If you enter through the wrong gate you will have to go all the way back to Granger Bay Boulevard.

8. If you have a SEATED TICKET you must enter through either the Main Turnstiles 1 – 11 at McDonalds or North Turnstiles 19 to 22 off Beach Road.

9. If you bought your tickets online from Computicket (print at home) please make sure you print out your E-ticket and fold as indicated on the ticket prior to arriving at the event.

10. For E-tickets purchased from bigconcerts.co.za, please review your printer settings before you print. The document must print to its actual size so that the folding lines print to the edge of the paper. Click here to see instructions on how to fold your E-ticket.

11. Please ensure that you bring your E-ticket with you to the venue as we cannot reprint E-tickets at the venue for safety and security reasons. Your E-ticket needs to be of high print quality to ensure a positive scan at the venue. Please note we cannot scan tickets off any mobile device.

12. There is no PARKING at the stadium. More information regarding the Park and Rail/Ride will be released nearer the time.
