London – A private funeral for singer Amy Winehouse will take place on Tuesday, The Daily Mail reports.
The funeral ceremony will only be attended by Winehouse’s closest friends and family. A spokesperson for the family declined to reveal details of the time or the location at which the ceremony will be held.
Winehouse will be cremated in Golders Green, north London, after the service.
Winehouse’s funeral arrangements are in keeping with Jewish law which states that it should take place as soon as possible.
It is believed that the ceremony will take place at a London synagogue.
A post-mortem took place on Monday, however, no cause of death was revealed.
Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that her daughter Kelly has travelled to London to observe the Jewish mourning period of Shiva with Amy’s family, reports NME.
