Monaco - Andrea Bocelli is to play at the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock.
The opera singer has been paid £5m to perform during the two day festivities celebrating the nuptials, with The Eagles also making an appearance at the event.
French chef Alain Ducasse will be preparing the food for guests including Britain's Earl and Countess of Wessex, French president Nicolas Sarkozy and German-born designer Karl Lagerfeld.
A civil ceremony between 53-year-old Prince Albert and his South African partner will take place on Friday ahead of a more lavish religious event on Saturday
Last month, Albert revealed he was not particularly excited by the forthcoming events because of the amount of planning he had to do.
He said: "I haven't had time to get stressed out or overly-excited because there are so many things I need to do before then. There has been some organisational overseeing to do and it has been a very complicated process but it's going along. Of course, Charlene has helped a lot."
