Cape Town - Ard Matthews has posted a video of himself performing the national anthem on his YouTube page.
He pre-empts the performance saying that this was what his performance at the Springbok World Cup team announcement should have been.
Matthews triggered a national furore when he bungled the performance on live television on Tuesday.
Matthews subsequently apologised, but came under fire from all quarters, including singer Ras Dumisani, who himself suffered a similar fate at a Springbok test in 2009.
