Stellenbosch - The famous guitar sounds of Blokkies Joubert echoed through the department of English in the Arts Building on the Stellenbosch campus on Thursday.
The event was a discussion between celebrated singer, songwriter and playwright David Kramer and his two biographers in the department, Tilla Slabbert and Dawid de Villiers.
The department's discussion, titled A Brief History of a Songwriter's Career: David Kramer in Conversation with his Biographers, attracted an enthusiastic audience.
Kramer answered questions from Slabbert and de Villiers in the form of old as well as brand new songs and compositions.
The first book about his life, David Kramer: A Biography, will be officially launched on November 22 and 30 in Cape Town.
