Cape Town – Just a few weeks ago Channel24 found what we called the hottest Afrikaans music video on the internet ever.

Well, it seems like a lot of people agreed with us! Our article struck a chord and did the rounds on the internet while Brendan Peyper shot to fame.

Amidst a whirlwind of excitement our blue-eyed bae from Bloem came to pay us a visit in the Mother City.

Brendan, who is currently busy completing his first album, says the last couple of weeks have been crazy.

"It’s been so exciting and I’ve learned so much. Not just about music, but also about the industry and how the media works," Brendan said.

The 18-year-old singer gave up a study bursary and decided to take the risk and follow his dreams. (Boy, are we glad he did!)

While in Cape Town Brendan will also be shooting his next music video! We can hardly contain our excitement!
