Celebs react to Super Bowl performances

New Orleans - Many celebrities in Hollywood's music industry dominated Twitter on Sunday, voicing their opinions on various performances at the Super Bowl game including Beyoncé's first performance since singing the national anthem at Obama's inauguration.

After her Super Bowl performance, Alicia Keys was quick to tweet how she was left "speechless" by the reaction to her Super Bowl performance.

The Girl on Fire singer sung the US national anthem at the Super Bowl XLVII game in New Orleans on Sunday evening, and was humbled by the crowd's reaction.

After her performance she posted a few pictures to her Twitter-page and captioned them: "This was when I was about to go on stage! The crowd's energy was CONTAGIOUS!"

"Tonight's @Superbowl experience was crazy! So much love to all of you!"

And by another pic, she posted: "I was speechless in this pic! Blessed to be here in Louisiana showing love for the USA."

Another poignant moment during the event came when Jennifer Hudson sang America the Beautiful with children from Sandy Hook elementary school.

Jennifer tweeted: "Such an amazing time ! I am grateful !!! God bless america (sic)."

The half time section of the show saw Beyoncé take to the stage, with a performance which included her joined by her recently reunited Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Justin Timberlake tweeted: "Yes, B. Yes. Roasted that... #KINGBEY (sic)"

Country star Carrie Underwood wrote: "...and @Beyonce just made all the rest of us singers look stupid! In the most awesome way possible! Way to work it! #BestEverHalftimeShow (sic)"

Outkast rapper Big Boi joked
: "They had a football game at the Beyonce Concert (sic)"

Shortly after Beyonce had finished, there was a short power outage in the stadium, prompting some jokes.

Singer Kelly Clarkson wrote: "The force and power that is Beyonce just shut the Super Bowl down ha! Too funny! (sic)"
