Cape Town – Cape Town singer Chad Saaiman, who was the victim of a botched hijacking in Johannesburg, has said in an interview with the Cape Argus that he wants to visit the scene where the incident took place.
Saaiman was shot in the abdomen on June 5 when he tried to escape hijackers on Louis Botha Avenue in Johannesburg.

Saaiman has already written six songs during the past week. He plans to receive therapy to help him process the traumatic event.
His new album, The Flight, was released shortly before the hijacking attempt. He still has three weeks of recovery ahead of him before he starts marketing his album.
