Cape Town – Hilltop Live on Tuesday announced the dates and ticket information for American rock band Chevelle's tour to South Africa.

After taking to Facebook on Tuesday to announce that they will be performing in South Africa in June, their tour dates have now been confirmed. They will be performing in Cape Town at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on Friday 31 May, and in Johannesburg at The Big Top Arena, Carnival City on Sunday 2 June.

Tickets are limited and will go on sale on Wednesday at 09:00 via Computicket.

Ticket prices:

Golden Circle - R450
General standing - R400
Seating - R350

Known for hits such as The Red, I Get It and Face to the Floor, the band from Chicago were forced to cancel their performances in South Africa in 2011 to complete their sixth studio album, Hats off to the Bull. This resulted in US rock band The Used stepping in as replacements for their scheduled gigs at Oppikoppi and Grand West Casino's Grand Arena.

Chevelle released a statement at the time expressing their regret to their South African fans, promising them a tour in the near future.
