Chomee rooting for Bafana in new video

Cape Town - South African popstar Chomee has released a new music video in honour of Bafana Bafana's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament, reports Sowetan Live.

The song which has been titled Score Dem Goals, also features up-and-coming rapper Kopano Mafokate.

The video was posted late on Wednesday, hours before Bafana's scheduled match against Angola, which they later won 2 - 0.

Since being posted, the video has had more than 500 hits and the song has also been heard on radio stations across South Africa. The video also stars members of the team dancing along with Chomee.

Chomee says she found the song to be the "best way of supporting the boys".

Benni McCarthy raps

"Bafana Bafana has done very well in both matches and I enjoyed every bit especially the one I attended when I shot the video," she told Sowetan Live.

The video comes just after Benni McCarthy released a rap song, titled Viva Africa, in honour of Bafana Bafana for the AFCON tournament.

His manager, Percy Adams confirmed that he is currently recording another single as a tribute for Orlando Pirates supporters, who he wants to thank for their support during his career with the team.

Adams said that the track is titled Amabhakabhaka and will be released during Orlando Pirates' next local match.
