Chris Brown's aunt held at gunpoint in his house

Los Angeles - Chris Brown's aunt was allegedly held at gunpoint when his home was ransacked in the early hours on Wednesday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three men in balaclavas and armed with firearms held the singer's relative at gunpoint and continued to steal cash from her, along with a laptop and a cellphone, before locking the terrified woman in a cupboard and fleeing the residence.

The ransacked property - which Chris recently purchased in May, around the same time that an alleged stalker was found in his Agoura Hills home - is equipped with 16 security cameras, however, it is not yet known if the robbery was caught on camera, KTLA reports.

It is also not clear whether the woman was injured during the assault on the Love More singer's home.

Chris was not at home during the time of the incident as the 26-year-old singer was spotted out with friends in Hollywood and left the Argyle club at approximately 02:13, just as the robbery was taking place not far away in the San Fernando Valley.

He later arrived back at the property and left with his aunt at around 04:00.

The singer has not released a statement but the incident is being investigated by the LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division, which handles crimes committed against high-profile people.
