Cape Town - British alternative rock band Coldplay on Tuesday released their much anticipated new single titled Paradise.
Paradise is the follow-up single to their first release, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, off their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto (pronounced my-lo zy-letoe).
"It’s got all the qualities of a sweeping anthem that Coldplay have made a living out of. It starts with sweltering swings and soon transcends towards those sky scraping melodies that just beg to fill an arena near you. This is grand Coldplay", comments Will Oliver from We All Want Someone To Shout For music blog.
Coldplay will perform live for the first time in South Africa on Wednesday 5 October at Cape Town Stadium and Saturday 8 October at FNB Stadium Johannesburg.
Mylo Xyloto will be released in digital and CD formats on October 24 through EMI Music South Africa.
