Channel24: You just finished your acoustic tour, what was that experience like?

Dan: It was really good. It was hard work because it’s just me playing guitar and singing. And what I mainly do is electric guitar with the band so it’s a lot more work when it’s just me, but we did 23 shows around South Africa.

Channel24: What’s coming up after your March tour?

Dan: We’re headed back to Europe in April. We’ve launched our album Dear Silence Thieves last year in South Africa and some parts of Europe. And we got nominated by Blues Rock Review so that’s opened up a lot of doors for us in the UK. So we’re going back there to launch the new album officially.

Channel24: What can people expect from your shows coming up in March?

Dan: Well, it’s electric so they’ll get to hear all the songs from Dear Silence Thieves and some old songs. And just some high energy, guitar driven show and because of the nature of the show it's partially improvised so every night will be a different experience.

And now for the fun stuff...

Channel24: What famous person do people say you resemble?

Dan: Robert De Niro for some reason? I think it’s the mole thing. And I’ve also had Adam Levine, I think it’s the haircut.

Channel24: If you could spend the day with any celeb who would it be?

Dan: B.B King.

Channel24: Who would you like to be stuck in an elevator with?

Dan: Ricky Gervais.

Channel24: What is your weirdest quirk?

Dan: Before I go to sleep I lay my clothes out so I don’t have to make a choice in the morning.

Channel24: What was the last picture you took on your phone?

Dan: It was my 1962 Fender Strat guitar.
