Cape Town – The venue for the Cape Town leg of Deadmau5's SA tour has changed, resulting in more tickets being made available.

Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, the promoters for global DJ icon Deadmau5 decided to move the Cape Town event from Ratanga Junction to the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

A change of venue has resulted in more tickets being made available, which will go on sale soon.

Deadmau5 mostly plays his own material, assembling tracks on the fly, using cutting-edge computer technology, including software he's helped write himself.

"There are no CDs involved," he explains.

"It's a technological orgy up there and I try and keep it more my music than anyone else's. If people come out to see Deadmau5 I want them to hear Deadmau5 music."

Deadmau5 has been nominated for a Grammy award and has won several awards including three International Dance Music Awards in 2010.
