Los Angeles - Eminem has been breaking new ground and blazing a trail for rappers in the hip-hop game for years.

The Superman hitmaker's new accolade sets Slim Shady apart from the rest.

Eminem set the Guinness World Record for having the most words in a hit song. His song Rap God features 1 560 words put together in just over 6 minutes. Rap God features lyrics such as:

"Everybody want the key and the secret to rap
Immortality like I have got
Well, to be truthful the blueprint's
Simply rage and youthful exuberance
Everybody loves to root for a nuisance
Hit the earth like an asteroid
and did nothing but shoot for the moon since
MC's get taken to school with this music
'Cause I use it as a vehicle to 'bus the rhyme"

The controversial rapper took to Twitter to share the good news with his fans.
