Engelbert Humperdinck to perform in SA

Cape Town - Legendary romantic singer Engelbert Humperdinck is set to perform in SA in June, reports The Beat.

The 75-year-old crooner is scheduled to give two performances in the Big Top Arena at Carnival City, Brakpan on 22 and 23 June 2012.

Humperdinck, born Arnold George Dorsey, has sold over 150 million records during his career.

In March 2012 the BBC announced that Humperdinck would represent the UK at the 2012 Eurovision song contest on 26 May.

Tickets for the Carnival City performances range between R250 - R520 and are available from Computicket
