Cape Town – Big Concerts announced on Monday that an extra Bruce Springsteen date has been added due to exceptional demand.
Big Concerts posted the following on their Facebook page: "Cape Town! Due to exceptional demand, a third and final date for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band is confirmed for 26th January at the Bellville Velodrome. Tickets go on sale 5th Nov at 9am from Big Concerts and Computicket"
This added date comes after tickets for the first two shows, on 28 and 29 January, sold out in 80 minutes, according to Timeslive.
Having sold 65 million albums in the USA and over 120 million albums worldwide, Bruce Springsteen has won numerous awards including 20 Grammy Awards, 2 Golden Globes and an Academy Award.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999 and Rolling Stone Magazine ranked Born To Run and Thunder Road in its Top 500 Greatest songs of all time.
One of the biggest touring artists in the world, Bruce Springsteen's recording career spans more than 30 years. Fans will have the chance to hear all the hits with a two and half hour live music show.
