Cape Town - Arno Carstens is currently touring the South African coast with his eclectic alternative rock band as part of his annual Unplugged Series.
"This is a great way for me to perform my songs in a stripped down and intimate environment, and allows us to really connect with the audience," Arno explained.
We got to ask him some quick questions on what it’s like road tripping as a rock star.
What is your favourite “padkos” when touring on the road?
Nando's of course, or any farm stall on the road will do.
Have you ever had an awkward encounter with a fan while taking a pit stop during a road trip?
Once I was on the loo at a filling station, and someone stuck a camera under the door to try and take pictures of me!

Jack Nicholson…I've seen him in About Schmidt and he's a great driver! I think he'd make great conversation.
