Former GNR drummer blasts Axl Rose

Los Angeles - Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler is "done" with Axl Rose.

The band's singer - and only original remaining member - declined to appear as the group were inducted to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, and Steven thinks it the end of his relationship with the flame haired frontman.

He told CNN: "I'm done with him, I'm never mentioning him or talking about him again. That's it. One last thing - god bless him."

Steven added he feels Axl "disrespected" all the band's fans by not reuniting with the line-up which recorded their definitive Appetite for Destruction album, which included him, Axl, guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin and bass player Duff McKagan.

'I feel fucking free'

He added: "I think it's disrespect. He's not for the fans, which is everybody in the world. Basically, he told everybody in the world, "Fuck you, I don't give a shit what you think."

Steven added he really enjoyed playing the event with stand in singer Myles Kennedy.

He said: "It was great, and Myles Kennedy did a fabulous job. This is the only thing I'm going to say about Axl, and this is the last thing I'm ever going to say, ever.

"I feel blessed and thankful that he was a part of my life for that chapter of my life, but that's it. That's it. I have no desire to know him or work with him or do anything with him again.

"Letting go of that was like a huge weight was lifted off my body. I feel fucking free."

Axl Still continues with a new line up of Guns N' Roses featuring Tommy Stinson, Chris Pitman, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal and DJ Ashba.
