Freshlyground and Mi Casa set to spice up UCT’s 20 Years of Freedom Celebration Concert

Cape Town - South Africa is 20 years old and the University of Cape Town is highlighting this special time in the rainbow nation’s history with a star studded concert on Thursday, 22 May 2014, at 19:00 on the rugby fields.

The headlining musical acts are Vusi Mahlasela, PJ Powers, Freshlyground and Mi Casa. They will be joined by DJ Nigel Jaxx and local singer Lynelle Kennedy. The event will also mark the renaming of the hallowed tertiary institution’s Ring road to the Madiba Circle.

Tickets are R280 and available via Computicket, but right now tickets are available at HALF PRICE until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 20 May 2014 at Computicket outlets. So get out there and grab them for cheap while you can! Snacks, alcoholic refreshments and soft drinks will be on sale at the event.
