Cape Town – It’s almost time for some public holidays again, and what better way to celebrate than some good old rock and blues tunes?!

The Big Blues Meets Rock Festival is taking place at Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on Sunday 26 April (Monday is a public holiday!).

Gates open at 12:00 and bands set to perform include Van Coke Kartel, The Black Cat Bones Pebbleman with Jesse Jordan, The Albert Frost Trio, Gerald Clark & the Deadmen, Boulevard Blues & the Mojo Heads, Azurdee & the Blue River Band and Hatchetman.

Food stalls, family entertainment and some rocking music will be yours for ten  hours straight and there will also be a massive lucky draw worth over R17000.
