If you want to join Walking the Daisies now would be a good time to apply


Cape Town - Walking the Daisies, brought to you by Rocking the Daisies, is an annual two-day hike that starts in Cape Town on Thursday, 2nd October and ends on Friday, 3rd October on arrival at the festival in Darling.

Rocking the Daises are looking for 200 like-minded walkers for a 44km facilitated hike with exciting educational and environmental activities.

The walk is fully catered for and your luggage will be transported to the festival for you. Tented accommodation is provided along the way with lots of added benefits.

The selection criteria for walking applications will be based on various aspects from experience ranging from fitness to skill-sets that will add value to fellow walkers.

Successful applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of R300 in order to secure placement on the walk. This fee includes your pass to Rocking the Daisies as well!

Applications will be open from 19 August to 10 September via rockingthedaisies.com/walking.

International acts MGMT, Rudimental, Cystal Fighters and The Presets have been confirmed to play at Rocking the Daisies 2014.

Local acts Jeremy Loops, John Wizards, Beatenberg, Arno Carstens & Francois Van Coke and over 120 more acts will be taking to the Daisies stages over four days from Thursday 2 October to Sunday 5 October on the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling.
