Johannesburg - Bongo Maffin, one of the biggest Kwaito/Afro pop groups to come out of South Africa, are going through a rather turbulent time right now according to reports.
Things seem to have gone sour between the group members and it is alleged that he three male members Jah Seed, Speedy and Stoan have decided to kick their female vocalist Thandiswa Mazwai out of the group.
According to The Daily Sun the decision comes after an explosive altercation erupted between Jah Seed and Mazwai on their way back to Johannesburg after performing at a gig in Kimberly.
Things got so bad Mazwai got out of the car and hitch-hiked her way back to Johannesburg.
Thandiswa Mazwai retweed an article on the social media platform Twitter about her being axed from the group:
Even though Mazwai has retweeted the link it has still not been officially confirmed that she has been axed from the group.
