Cape Town – 94.5 Kfm has announced that Jack Parow will no longer be performing at K-Day, the station’s annual music festival.
After receiving numerous messages of concern from listeners around the content of Jack Parow’s songs, the station has decided to review the proposed line up and remove the rapper from the bill.
According to Kfm, K-Day sponsors are not involved in the selection of the line-up.
"We respect Jack Parow as an artist and as a performer. However, our listeners are the core of our radio station and we cannot ignore their concerns," said Kfm station manager Colleen Louw.
"The feedback we have received from listeners made it clear that we need to reconsider Jack Parow’s appearance at K Day."

Listeners voiced their concerns over the content of his music, which is laden with profanity and contains references to sex, and said that it's not appropriate for a famliy event like K-Day.
