Katherine Jenkins coming to SA again

Cape Town - Mezzo-Soprano singer Katherine Jenkins is coming to South Africa for a two-city tour in August.

The Welsh-born muso is on her way to South Africa for a second time and is expected to attract bigger crowds than when she last visited the country in March 2011.

The BRIT Award winner has sold more than seven million albums worldwide.

The singer has become known for her interpretations of popular songs, operatic arias and hymns and recently sang for the queen during the annual Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Katherine will appear in SA with a full orchestra and her own conductor from the UK, Anthony Inglis.

She will be performing in Johannesburg at Carnival City on Saturday 11 and 12 August and in Cape Town at Grand West Casino's Grand Arena on 17 August.

Tickets are available at Computicket and range between R225 and R525.
