Cape Town - Singer and actress Kelly Khumalo and her manager Sarah Setlaelo have split again after suspected differences between the two, reports Sunday World.
After many disputes throughout their almost nine-year relationship, insiders believe that Kelly's relentless negative public image may have been one of the reasons behind the split.
Kelly first signed on with Bonsai Entertainment at the start of her career in 2004 and Sarah became her manager. The company was also owned by Sarah's ex-husband Bonsai Shongwe.
She most famously left Sarah and Bonsai Entertainment when Prosper Mkwaiwa, Kelly's boyfriend at the time, lured her over to his music label.
'Amicable' decision
After signing on with Prosper, her career took a plunge and she suffered personal hardships and battles with addiction.
She had a tumultuous relationship with murder convict Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye and her attempts to clean up her act and get her life and career back on track were documented in an e.tv series titled Rolling with Kelly Khumalo.
Kelly left Prosper and his label and joined Sarah in her new company, Sarah Inc.
A press statement from Sarah Inc indicates that the pair made an mutual decision to split.
"Khumalo and her manager have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Together they have achieved many milestones in a very short space of time," the statement read.
