Kings of Leon ticket details announced

Cape Town Following the announcement on Tuesday that US rock band Kings of Leon will be touring South Africa, promoter Big Concerts have revealed the ticket and venue details.

The Use Somebody rockers are set to play two dates only - in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Dates are as follows:

Cape Town:
Thursday, 24 March 2011 - Cape Town Stadium

Johannesburg:
Sunday, 27 March 2011 - FNB Stadium

Ticket prices range from:

Golden Circle R590

General Field Standing – R390

Seated
R225

Ticket sales are set to open at 9am on Saturday, 4 December at Computicket outlets as well as online at www.computicket.com

Meanwhile Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill tweeted following the announcement of their latest tour:

"Australia and South Africa beware. We are gonna unleash a massive party on your asses. Stock up on booze now so I can have some later. ;-)"

Kings of Leon were on Wednesday nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for their song Radioactive off their latest album Come Around Sundown at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.
