Cape Town – Just hours before international superstar Rihanna is due to take to the stage to perform in front of Cape Town fans at the Cape Town stadium social media is buzzing with speculation that the singer will lip-synch.
A photographer from The Star alleged on Monday that he saw the 25-year-old singer lip-synch on stage at her Johannesburg concert. "Ri-Ri Rip-Off!" the newspaper announced on its front page.
According to an article that appeared in Die Burger on Wednesday morning many disgruntled fans tweeted in fury after Sunday’s concert at the FNB Stadium because the singer allegedly lip-synched.
The Mail Online reported in September that fans in Singapore were also left disappointed after complaints that the singer lip-synched during her performance.
However local musos all agreed that it’s difficult to determine whether or not an artist is lip-synching. RiRi’s local fans took to Twitter in support of the singer denying that she lip-synched.
