Cape Town - 15-year-old singer-songwriter Tholwana Mohale, winner of SA’s Got Talent 2014, released her debut single, Hollywood Guy, across all digital music platforms.
The music and lyrics for Hollywood Guy were composed by Tholwana herself and the song was produced by FutureKings (Ross Jack and Alex Parker).
The eagerly anticipated single has been in development since she won SA’s Got Talent at the end of 2014.
Lyrically, the song describes a girl who has a crush on a boy who she believes is "the one" and highlights Tholwana’s great vocal capabilities - the song cruises into a rap verse that shows off her playful side.
"Do you wanna be my Hollywood guy?, we can run around taking selfies at night, cause I know I wanna be the one you dream about, you're the one I think about when I'm on stage, no, not really, but I'm sure it'll come with age, so what do you say? Can we try to be?."
The edgy production combines urban and pop sounds that defines the recent FutureKings chart hit My City by Toya Delazy's feat. Cassper Nyovest.

Tholwana, a Grade 10 learner from Steinkopf, a small town in the Northern Cape, was born into a family of five and her mom is a single parent.
She started singing in 2011 when her school offered guitar classes and her mom signed her up.
This year has been a busy one for the 15-year-old who has relocated to Johannesburg to continue her schooling and start recording music for her debut album due for release in 2016.
