Cape Town - The first phase for the 2013 MK Awards has kicked off.
During this phase, fans will have their say by voting for their favourites in two categories for the MK Awards.
The two categories are Best Live Act and Best SA Music Festival and fans will be able to vote untill 25 January.
From here on, nominations for the two categories will be compiled from fans' votes, and added to the list of nominees for the 2013 MK Awards.
A full list of all the categories and nominees for the awards show will be released on 1 February.
