Mariah Carey hospitalised after injury

New York - Mariah Carey was hospitalised on Sunday for a shoulder injury.

According to the pop star's rep, Cindi Berger, the singer went to the hospital in New York after injuring her shoulder while filming a music video.

Berger added on Monday that "doctors reset Mariah's shoulder" and that "she is doing fine".

Carey was filming a video for a remix version of her song #Beautiful with rapper Young Jeezy when the incident took place.

Carey's husband Nick Cannon is directing the video.

The singer will still perform with the New York Philharmonic on Central Park's Great Lawn on Saturday for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert.

Carey will release a new album this year.

#Beautiful features Grammy-winning R&B singer Miguel and has peaked at No. 15 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
