Matthew Mole is engaged

Cape Town - Local singer Matthew Mole is engaged.

The Take Yours, I'll Take Mine singer shared the happy news on social media by posting a photo of him and fiancée Jessica Pettitt on Instagram.

Matthew captioned the pic: "Look what we did. I'm gonna have the best life with this lady!"

The couple is currently on holiday in London.

In 2013 Matthew made South African chart history by becoming the first local artist to enter the iTunes album chart at No 1 with his debut album.

His debut album, The Home We Built, beat the likes of international artists Jay Z, The Rolling Stones, Michael Bublé and Robin Thicke.
