Miguel lands on fan at Billboard Awards

2013-05-20 11:22
Las Vegas – Miguel had a show-stopping performance at the Billboard Music Awards after he jumped over the crowd and landed on two fans during his performance of Adorn.

The R&B singer, who seemed to have landed part of his body on one girl, who walked away, and kicked another girl, who held her head low, left one of them bruised.

Following his performance, Miguel was spotted with one of the fans who were holding an ice pack on her arm.

"Well, I think it's kind of clear what happened," he told Billboard's editorial director Bill Werde. "But I'm very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met. Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we're okay."

The young Khyati didn’t seem to care much for her injury as she was excited to be backstage with Miguel. Asked what she thought of him, she said: "I Adorn him."

Miguel told Billboard he "got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay."

Taylor Swift walked away the biggest winner of the night, scooping up eight awards of the 11 she was nominated for. Justin Bieber went home with three awards.
