New music festival Seven Sounds launches in Jozi

Cape Town – Prepare for a musical feast with a new outdoor music festival series: Seven Sounds at Common Ground - a brand new outdoor venue in the Maboneng Precinct.

Seven Sounds is for the music lovers. For those who enjoy and appreciate a diverse collection of musical genres. Each line-up will showcase seven original artists, creating a sonic landscape both eclectic and unique. Taking place in the urban park Common Ground, Seven Sounds is the perfect addition to the thriving artistic community which is the Maboneng Precinct.

The festival takes place during the day. Gates open at 10:00 with a new sound being amplified each hour from 11:00 onwards and concludes in the early evening, rounding down to a close at 19:00.

The park is encircled by some of the best food vendors in Johannesburg and a beautifully curated
bar will keep festival-goers refreshed and hydrated.

Only 700 tickets will be available to this boutique festival experience.

The first festival takes place on 7 February 2015, featuring Matthew Mole, Shotgun Tori, The Muffinz, Guy Buttery, Tidal Waves, Nakhane Touré and The Runaway Train Cult.
