Cape Town - TV star Nonhle Thema has she launched another Twitter tirade at all her critics.
On Friday she tweeted "I hate broke celebs talking smack about me on Real Goboza.......u broke ass celebs" and "I got more money than all SA celebs....boom....come to me if u think im lying.... (sic)”
And later: "I dare journalists and celebs to call me..i got more money that you can imaggen...im waiting ....lets go...(sic)"
This follows earlier Twitter outbursts by the TV personality that saw beauty company Dark and Lovely –with whom she has a contract step in, in order to protect the image of the brand.
"She realises those tweets may have offended some people and apologises. They do not reflect Nonhle’s character nor do they reflect the values of SoftSheen-Carson," reads the statement released by the company.
Thema later tweeted an apology saying “Sorry for the tweets, I was just having fun but it went too far. I love Dark and Lovely and my tweetanators and meant no harm."
Arrogant
After her reality show, Nonhle Goes To Hollywood, failed to attract ratings with SA audiences, Thema has been using to Twitter as a platform to advertise her wealth and to promote herself as a brand.
But her arrogant tone, while generating a lot of press has also cost her the respect of some of her followers.
@olwethu_g tweeted, "Omg she's at it again," while @Tsakie added "she’s getting on my last nerve, is there a need to tweet about her money and status all the time."
However, the star seems oblivious to criticism with her most recent tweet reiterating: "One thing i hate broke celebs talking nasty about me.please ill buy u dinner sit down. With ure broke self ....(sic)"
