Outdoor festival Sexy Groovy Love to hit Jozi in September

2015-08-30 11:00

Cape Town - The sun is out, the days are hot and Johannesburg is invited to come play as Sexy Groovy Love creates a magical wonderland on Saturday, 19 September.

Sexy Groovy Love is an outdoor event with more than a few differences. We pride ourselves on letting you guys be yourselves. And whether that’s enjoying reflection and repose, or moving to the melody until the sun sets, we've got something for everyone.

Sharing the sweet essence of three successful events already hosted in Cape Town, this boutique festival reaches Jozi for the first time.

Here is a sneak peek of what Jozi has been waiting for as you watch the after movie from the third and latest installment of Sexy Groovy Love hosted in the Cape Winelands:

Join us at GROUND in Muldersdrift on the 19 September and let's paint its blank canvas with new, colourful memories.

This stunning venue is a melting pot of South Africa's natural beauty. Think vine cuttings from Cape Town, cool lawns from the Magalies, and an assortment of trees from all corners of the country.

Sexy Groovy Love is thrilled to add to the tapestry of its ever-growing and happy history with you guys!

We invite you to revel in amazing company amongst superb décor and fascinating installments.

Strike up conversations with strangers, move to the perfectly timed beats as day turns to night, or just enjoy an atmosphere of acceptance and relaxation where all of the city’s stresses melt away, forgotten.

When hunger and thirst take hold, stroll to our main area for some delicious boutique food and crisp, refreshing craft beer and drinks.

With your help, Sexy Groovy Love intends to create a place where worry doesn't exist; a little universe for you and your friends – old and new – to be yourselves in absolute peace.

Begin the new outdoor season by diving into the Sexy Groovy Love world and nourishing your soul with laughter and smiles. We cannot wait to meet you guys!

Here’s what we have waiting for you:

The market:

Our market is filled with gourmet food vendors and food trucks who will be keeping us well fed right through the event. Aside from our fully stocked cash bars, we also have a few specialty bars in the market offering something a little bit more unconventional.

Our playground is littered with decorative installations, activities and games. Your level of involvement is entirely up to you, we are merely setting the scene for the child inside of you to come out.

The music:

Our curated DJ line up is carefully selected ensuring a natural progression from day into night. Your DJ’s for Sexy Groovy Love – Higher Grounds, are Dean Fuel (CT), Richard Marshall (CT), Abby Nurock, Rob Sloan, Metro Ticket, Justin Miller, Harael Salkow, Tomorrow’s Will, and Chris de Vos (CT).
