Los Angeles - Rihanna and Chris Brown were reportedly paid $10m to perform at a New Year's Eve gig.
The singers - who recently reconciled their on/off relationship - flew to the Ivory Coast to perform at an intimate concert for guests at an African billionaire's private party, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
After the gig on Monday, they jumped on a waiting jet to fly to the Caribbean island of St Barts so they could celebrate New Year for a second time with family.
Rihanna and Chris aren't the only stars to have earned huge pay days from performing at an intimate gig.
Other private gigs
Last year, Jennifer Lopez was reportedly given $1m for singing at a wedding in the Ukraine.
The singer flew into the European country to perform at the nuptials of billionaire Serhiy Taruta's daughter. A source said: "He's a wealthy guy who wanted J.Lo and was willing to pay top dollar."
Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones and Mariah Carey have also earned over $1m to sing at private events.
