Rihanna's two 'days from hell'

Los Angeles - Rihanna cancelled her shows in Texas after two "days from hell".

The Stay singer has been suffering from a prolonged bout of laryngitis which stopped her performing as part of her Diamonds World Tour in Houston on Monday and Dallas the following night.

Referring to an 11 April show, she wrote on Instagram: "I was sick since San Diego! I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I fucked up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different!

"I'm sad and disappointed about it! I had all kinds of plans for Houston!"

Cut down on partying

Rihanna was pictured leaving a doctor on Tuesday ahead of pulling out of the Dallas show.

She has also previously had to cancel shows in Boston and Baltimore last month due to her illness.

The Umbrella singer has reportedly been told by doctors to slow down, and also cut down on her partying.

A source said: "Rihanna's illness was so severe doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover.

"They told her she needs to make some serious lifestyle changes, or risk this happening again."

The Diamonds World Tour is now set to resume on 19 April in Tampa, Florida.
