Cape Town – By this time next week we’ll be well on our way to extreme music euphoria as we chill out on the Cloof Wine Estate at Rocking the Daisies 2014.
We’ve been cornering some of our favourite bands and DJ’s that will be performing at the festival for a quickie.
A Channel24 quickie is a brief or spontaneous episode consisting of five frisky questions in which celebs and Channel24 have a brief frolic leaving all parties involved feeling satisfied and craving a cigarette.
Our latest quickie victim is Blynd Tyger:What’s your favourite thing to eat at a music festival?
Braaivleis and bunny chow are definitely the right kinds of food for festivals. Also anything spicy to keep one brisk.
What’s your festival drink of choice?
Jägermeister is always a winner! We also dig beer. Black Label, because local is always lekker. What’s the most important thing you’ll be packing for RTD?
That would definitely be the lot of our instruments! Sunnies and sunscreen are big musts too!
Who are you most looking forward to see perform at the festival?
Too many to mention, though we are most fond of local acts - Loveglove Pyrotechnics, Medicine Boy, Mr Cat & the Jackal, to name a few. We are also stoked to check out The Psychedelic Theatre!
When and where will you be performing at the festival?
We will be opening the Main Stage at 13:00 on Friday. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there for some groovy rock & roll jams!*Rocking the Daisies takes place from 2 - 5 October at the Cloof Wine Estate in the Western Cape.*If you can't make it to #RTD2014 and you live in Jozi then you should definitely get tickets to Vodacom in the City on 3 October. - Channel24
