Cape Town - Grammy Award-winning artist Skrillex will be giving a workshop in Langa during his South African tour this week, reports music journalist Evan Milton.
Skrillex will be teaming up with South African artist Niskerone and the non-profit organisation Bridges for Music to offer a workshop including sessions on bass music, technology and his accolades within the music industry.
According to the post, Skrillex is said to be quite willing to impart his knowledge to young, up-and-coming DJs.
The workshop will be held on Thursday at the Guga S’thebe Arts and Cultural Centre in Langa, a day before Skrillex is set to take the stage at The Ostrich Farm in the Western Cape as part of his Mothership tour.
According to Electric Promoters' Facebook page, selected tickets are still available for the show.
