Cape Town - Both are known for creating uplifting, infectiously happy music.  One, a Grammy award nominated Canadian recording artist, the other, an unconventional folk singer, known for incorporating numerous instruments into his blend of folk and electronica.

Hilltop Live, 947 and MTV on Tuesday announced that Matthew Mole will be the first artist joining the bill for Carly Rae Jepsen live in South Africa.

The 23-year-old Mole made history as the first South African artist to debut on iTunes at number 1 for his debut album The Home We Built.
