The Prodigy heading to SA

Cape Town - The Prodigy will be joining the line-up of acts for the Synergy Live 2012 music festival.

Two performances have been scheduled for both the shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The Cape Town festival will take place from 30 November to 2 December at the Theewater Sports Club, while the festival in Johannesburg will make its debut on 1 December at Riverlands Farm.

The British electronic dance group have been entertaining crowds since 1990.

Liam Howlett formed the group in their hometown of Braintree, Essex in England. Along with Fatboy Slim and the Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy have been credited as pioneers of the electronic dance genre.

Their latest album, How to Steal a Jet Fighter, is yet to be released.
