The new Pharrell & Daft Punk music video is out and we’re confused

Cape Town – After a lot of teasing and waiting and some more teasing the music video for Pharrell’s Gust of Wind featuring Daft Punk is finally out.

Directed by Edgar Wright, best known for his Three Flavours Cornetto film trilogy consisting of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End, the video left us feeling rather underwhelmed.

Pharrell looks like he accidentally stumbled upon the set while he was out shopping dressed in his usual casual attire.

The rest of the video feels like a bizarre scene from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon that was somehow shot in Yellowstone National Park or something.

And then there’s the Daft Punk floating heads spaceships. Well. Yeah.
