Cape Town - Up the Creek 2014 was one that will never be forgotten!
Scorching temperatures drove everybody into the water where flotation devices ranged from drink holders to gazebos to t-rexes and a palm tree. And yes, one float even had a braai going on it…
The official drink of the festival was Old Brown Sherry, Ginger Ale and ice, which kept everyone cool and refreshed. The bands gave stellar performances and definite highlights include Jeremy Loops and Shortstraw as well as Matthew Mole and Beatenberg who surprised with their almost acoustic sets on the Jagermeister stage.
For the greenies, it was a carbon neutral event and apparently some people from the Heartbreak Motel ran around naked with burning sticks "sticking" out of their butts. So this year really had something for everyone…
