This year’s Grammy Awards were as boring as a cup of Earl Grey tea

Los Angeles – It’s supposed to be the biggest musical event on the awards calendar, but this year the Grammy Awards were as boring as a cup of Earl Grey tea.

Let's just be brutally honest with each other here for a moment. The Grammy Awards are known for its controversial red carpet outfits and mega music stars making shocking headlines as they perform on stage.

Remember JLo's barely-there dress she wore in 2000?!

And Lady Gaga hatching from an egg:

However this year the show might go down in history as the most boring one to date.

The red carpet barely delivered any noteworthy outfits and the show itself just didn’t live up to the hype.

The biggest disappointment of the night was the glaring fact that there were barely any headline making celebrities. Rihanna, Adele,  Lady Gaga, Miley, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez all failed to pitch.

Except for Beyoncé’s sultry dance moves and Taylor’s hardcore piano playing the performances left much to be desired.

Haven’t we seen Pink hang from the ceiling before?

Was Katy Perry really trying to convince us that she went goth?

What was Paris Hilton doing at the Grammy Awards?

And was Kaya Jones' outfit really the craziest of the evening?

Even the list of winners wouldn’t get a guy on Viagra excited.

It's time to accept that Madonna is way too old for this now.
