Cape Town – Social media is being flooded with tributes since the news broke that soul singer Lulu Dikana died.
According to Destiny Man, Lulu passed away on Wednesday night. The cause of death is still unclear, but according to reports her death comes after a short illness. Her record label Sony will be releasing a statement later on Thursday.
Lulu, who’s the sister of X Factor judge and singer Zonke Dikana, recently released a new album I Came to Love and she also opened for John Legend on the Johannesburg leg of his All of Me tour.
Lulu’s death follows that of her older sister’s, Busisiwe, who passed away suddenly in May 2013 and her father, Viva Dikana, who died in 2009.
