Cape Town - UK sound system experts Dillinja and K-aze will conduct a free workshop at The Assembly in Cape Town, giving a history and how-to on building a sound system.
The workshop will also be live streamed on www.facebook.com/RedBullStudioCT.
The venue is hosting the Red Bull Sound System on Saturday, September 3.
Dillinja and K-aze first collaborated to launch the world-famous Valve Sound System over a decade ago at London's Fabric nightclub. Now multi-talented producers and mix masters, the two legends of sound production have had a massive influence on dance music culture worldwide.
Cape Town is the first stop on the 10-city Red Bull Music Academy World Tour.
Leading up to the Academy in Madrid – running October 23 to November 4 and November 13 to November 25 – events will be held in Berlin, Cape Town, Detroit, London, Melbourne, New York, Paris, Rome, São Paulo and Toronto.
Each event brings together influential musicians from various corners of the world across different eras of music.
