Up the Creek announces first bands for 2016

Cape Town – Festival organisers on Friday announced the first 16 bands that will play at Up The Creek 2016.

The festival will be taking place from 28 – 31 January 2016 next to the Breede River, Swellendam.

The16 bands signed to play are:

Albert Frost & Robin Auld, The Ballistics, The Vanilla, Stoker, Grassy Spark, Nomadic Orchestra, Al Bairre, Georgetown, Southern Wild, Shortstraw, Crimson House Blues, Hatchetman, The Black Cat Bones, Bark, December Streets and the Jonathan Peyper Trio.

After a successful 2015 and some awesome feedback, organisers have decided to go back to the 2014 event size and will therefore only be selling 2 700 full weekend tickets.

Heartbreak Hotel:

If you want to rock out in a little more comfort, then the Heartbreak Motel tented accommodation is for you. There are two options of pre-pitched tents, hot showers, toilets, buffet breakfast and other luxuries. For more info and bookings, click here.

Festival gates open at 15:00 on Thursday 28 January and close again at 17:00 on Sunday 31 January.
