Cape Town - Last week two of the Van Coke Kartel boys, Francois van Coke and Jed Kossew, graced us with their presence at our Channel24 studio to jam some songs and talk about their new album Bloed, Sweet n Trane. And as it goes with rock stars, they literally rocked our world!
So here’s what went down:
1. Dressed in tight black skinny jeans and some leather, Francois and Jedd arrived in a huge, very manly, black bakkie, ('cos that's just who they are, awesome rock stars and all of that…) and after some friendly banter we led them to our studio where they started setting up for their first song...
2. Being the true professional muso's they are, their first rendition of Môregloed just wasn't good enough (it was also only 13:00, which might be a bit early for rock stars) so they did a second version with Francois singing a bit lower...Best. Performance. Ever. You can watch the awesome performance here.
3. Next, we sat down to have the best conversation in the world ever...
4. We laughed...
5. We talked about some serious stuff like married life..
6. Jedd also said some stuff (we can't really remember what, I mean, who can blame us?! So handsome...)
7. Francois explained some stuff...
8. And at the end, we fist bumped, yes we totally did, and it was awesome! (I have the proof, so it totally happened okay?!)
